Hazel O’Brien is a graduate of English Studies from Trinity College Dublin (TCD), and she is currently working in Export Sales for an educational publisher in London.

She has previously worked in academic administration for TCD’s School of Social Work and Social Policy and in Public Relations and Marketing for illustrated non-fiction publishing. She was also a contributing features author for TCD’s official publication, University Times.

In 2015, Hazel worked with Highwood Education on adapting reading textbooks for a Saudi Arabian School system. Hazel re-joined the team in 2017 as an instructional designer and contributed to the creation of activity scripts for the game Jelly Phonics for RISE, China.
