Sara Mena
Lead Multimedia Artist

Sara Mena is passionate about treading that fine line between education and entertainment and finding solutions to make every educational product stick with children.

Sara’s passion for communication is shown through 7+ years of experience in multimedia, working across a broad range of styles and digital offerings, including video games, animation and publishing. She has worked on a variety of international projects, including: RISE PreK and Grade 1 lesson, rTunes, Hello Kitty Kawaii AR: Kawaii World, Folens School Books and The Day Henry Met…

Having lived in 4 different countries – Portugal, Germany, Sweden, and now Ireland – has inspired and expanded Sara’s understanding of how education is not a one-way road and should be seeking constant innovation. She also understands that we learn better when the content is fun and engaging.

Sara owns Doodlio Studio, an art production company, with Highwood Education being one of its main clients. Along with client work, Doodlio Studio is also currently developing an animated documentary about the Iberian Lynx’s come-back from extinction.

Aside from education, Sara is also interested in cultural events and is currently volunteering setting up a Portuguese film festival in Sweden.
