Pat is retired from An Garda Siochána with 40 years’ experience. His experience includes Security and Intelligence, Crime Prevention and for the last 12 years he was central to the Training and Development section of the organisation. Pat was the lead in implementing many changes in training, including a new trainee programme as well as leadership and management programmes. He also established the Investigative training section for An Garda Siochána.

Pat holds a M.B.A. from University College Dublin Michael Smurfit Graduate School. He has recently completed a Diploma in Business and Executive Coaching at the Smurfit Graduate Business School.
