Highwood Educational Consulting and Development specializes in educational consultancy and content development in all areas of learning, but chiefly in English Language Learning from Pre-K to middle school.

Founded in 2012 by Chris Stevens, Highwood Education designs and develops educational print and digital products for clients in China, the Middle East, Europe, and the U.S. Highwood products include a wide array of multi-media and print offerings, such as instructional videos, animated lessons and practice activities, song videos, marketing presentations, teacher and student guides, assessment pieces, digital games, and so on.

In addition to a variety of product offerings, Highwood designs, develops, and maintains learning management systems for capturing student data and providing teachers and parents with reports.

Highwood works closely with its clients and selected partners to provide expertise and advice in all aspects of product development, including:

In particular Highwood offers specialised design and development of English Language Learning (ELL) products, such as digital ELL courseware, online readers, song videos, and writing handbooks.


Attica, a subsidiary of Highwood Education, was established in 2016 exclusively for providing research and development in online education and training services to large companies, government agencies and not-for-profit organizations with large employee cohorts that are highly operational. Attica is committed to providing real-time solutions, particularly in training and continuous professional development (CPD), through a number of different multi-media offerings and across various devices and platforms.

The primary consultants for Attica are Jim Cahill and Pat McCabe, with experience in the Irish Defence Forces and An Garda Siochána respectively. They have considerable experience in the development of trainee programmes and the provision of digital media products across a range of platforms.
